The progress of one man is the progress of no one

What do you think about following final phrases?

The progress of one man is the progress of no one. (the original phrase sounds like "the voice of one man is the voice of no one")

And the second phrase I took from Rumi poetry:

No sound of clapping comes from one hand without the other hand.
